Our Mission
Our mission is to nurture a vibrant, sustainable community by providing fresh, nutritious food to families in the Mary Ellen McCormack Housing Development. We aim to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to grow their own food with their own hands.
Through collective effort and education, we strive to cultivate a greener, healthier future for all.
Together, we are stronger.
Our Gardens
Our community gardens are a hidden gem, bursting with life and vibrancy in the heart of South Boston!
Our community proudly supports three vibrant gardens, each teeming with life and energy!
Our first garden is located in Sterling Square
Our second garden is located in Joe Moakley Park
Our third garden is located in the development
Both plants and people grow together here! The soil has stories to tell, as you walk between the rows and see the rich diversity of leafy green plants. Come by to our garden spaces!
Our Community
All are welcomed here at the Round Table!

These gardens are more than just a way to grow food. They are a testament to our resilience and empowerment for everyone! What started as small plots of land have blossomed into thriving spaces that feed not just our bodies but our spirits. By working together to plant, cultivate, and harvest, we’ve found a way to uplift each other, to share in the abundance that we create with our own hands.
